Andrew Allison

Andrew has extensive experience spanning five decades working in Australasia and Asian markets representing Lloyds syndicates as well as managment and underwriting roles in a range of insurance and reinsurance companies. He has also been involved for many years with ANZIIF including previous Chairmanships of the Reinsurance Study Course (RISC), Reinsurance Faculty, Reinsurance Rendezvous. He is currently part of the Organising Committee of RISC, Snr Assoc ANZIIF.

Tony Cosford

Tony has worked in the insurance industry for over 45 years underwriting property, liability and packages products across a broad spectrum of businesses. During his career he has occupied a variety of senior roles including underwriting manager, Victorian branch manager and property portfolio manager which has led to his involvement in the development of policy wordings, underwriting manuals to ensure alignment with corporate goals and development of underwriting standards for automated delivery systems and auditing of portfolios for quality purposes. The positions have provided an opportunity to develop and mentor staff and deliver technical training to audiences of various sizes.

Mike Davidson

Mike has over 50 years of experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry. Most recently he was Managing Director of Brit Insurance Services Australia Limited where he set up the company and was responsible for developing the business into a Lloyd’s service company. Prior to joining Brit, Mike had general management and business development /underwriting responsibilities in a number of executive roles with local operations of international companies. Mike has been an active contributor to advanced Reinsurance education throughout his career.

Colin Packham

Colin is a veteran of the reinsurance industry in London, Zurich and Sydney as an underwriter with Mercantile and General and Swiss Re. Since 1999 he has worked as a reinsurance consultant specialising in education, underwriting and claims audits and advice in the property, natural perils and crop portfolios. Colin is an Associate of Risk Frontiers at Macquarie University and an Associate Member of the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia. He has written or edited a number of publications on reinsurance topics.
